Salalah Discovery Trip Itinerary

Day 1

East Salalah Mountain Landscapes & Wadis

 

Your first day moves deep into East West Salalah terrain, beginning at Taqah Beach, then into the green valley of Wadi Darbat. The climb through the Qara Mountains guides you to Samhan Mountain’s open cliff edges and canyon views.

You continue toward the ancient baobabs of Wadi Hanna, pause at Ayn Haseer Spring, and finish at the Anti-Gravity Point. Soft highland air moves across the plateaus as the day closes.

West Salalah: Coastal Roads, Blowholes & Highland Views

 

After breakfast, the western side opens with Ayn Sahlnoot Spring, followed by Mughsail Beach and the powerful sprays of the Marneef Blowholes. The route continues to Hidden Masood Beach and along the historic Frankincense Trail.

Later, you stop at Esfalquot Cliff and drive the Western Coast Road, a clean mix of Salalah nature culture tied to its cliffs and sea. Coastal wind shifts between the rocks as the day ends.

Your final day focuses on the mountains city Salalah contrast, starting at Sultan Qaboos Mosque and moving through Al Baleed Archaeological Park (UNESCO). You visit the Frankincense Land Museum, pass by Al Husn Palace, and walk through Al Haffa Souq.
