Day 1

Arrival & Salalah City Discovery

 

Your first day begins with a warm airport welcome and an easy transfer to start the city’s cultural circuit. You explore the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Al Baleed Archaeological Park, and the Frankincense Land Museum, anchors of the region’s heritage.

A line of coconut farms and the open alleys of Al Haffa Souq add a simple local rhythm to the afternoon. Soft sea air moves through the city as the day winds down, a gentle introduction to your Salalah adventure package.

East Salalah Mountain Safari: Wadis, Waterfalls & High Cliffs

A camel farm visit adds a local touch before entering Rub’ al Khali for dune bashing, sandboarding, and soft trekking on the high dunes. The desert quiet deepens as the sun drops behind the golden ridges, a clean, dramatic end to a full Salalah Dhofar trip day.
